Deputy Administrator for Policy and Evaluation

The Administration for Community Living (ACL) is seeking a Deputy Administrator for Policy and Evaluation who will be responsible for providing advice on program, policy, and management issues, implementing, overseeing, and managing ACL's performance and evaluation activities. The Deputy Administrator will oversee the development and implementation of programmatic and policy initiatives that reflect targeted goals of the ACL Administrator and Assistant Secretary for Aging and the Administration, offer leadership acumen on key strategic policy priorities and initiatives, and demonstrate the ability to work with staff at all levels on serious and usually sensitive matters. They will also serve as a lead advisor on policies, procedures, and critical issues that have a major impact on programs for people with disabilities and older adults and those who serve and support them. Additionally, the Deputy Administrator will provide guidance on the implications of proposed, new, or revised policies, regulations, and legislative proposals.
