NCOA is hosting a webinar that will focus on connecting Older Veterans with benefits and services which promote healthy aging. The health of Older Veterans is particularly important because over half of Veterans are over 65, and Older Veterans have a disproportionately large burden of disease as compared to civilians. This webinar will explore the ways that community-based services can be used to promote well-being in Older Veterans and will discuss specific examples of successful partnerships such as Chronic Disease Self-Management Education programs implemented in Utah and Maryland.
