NASUAD's Preliminary Analysis of President's FY 2012 Proposed Budget

Earlier today, President Obama submitted his $3.73 trillion fiscal 2012 proposed budget request
to Congress, which outlines the Administration’s overall fiscal policy and federal program
priorities for the fiscal year (FY) that will begin on October 1, 2011.
Included in the Administration’s proposal are funding requests for all federal executive
departments and independent agencies as well as data to persuade Congress of the necessity of

Also of note, several of the proposals recommended to the President by the bipartisan National
Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform are referenced in his FY 2012 budget request.
