Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) Program -- Role of the Aging Network in Assisting Older Motgagees

The Administration on Aging has added a new page to their website to provide information on the Home Equality Conversion Mortgage (HECM) Program.  This webpage is designed to assist professionals in the aging network in understanding the issue and helping people who have trouble paying their mortgage payments.  This webpage includes information on the background of HECM, a summary of how HECM reverse mortgages function, and FAQs that may help them work with consumers.  The webpage will be updated by AoA.  It can be found under AoA Programs, Special Projects, or here.
