Family Caregivers to Receive Federal Respite Support

The Assistant Secretary for Aging, Kathy Greenlee, announced on Tuesday that twelve states will receive grant awards to implement the Lifespan Respite Care Program. This program will help states to better coordinate their existing respite care services as well create new services and raise awareness of the issue. Congratulations to Delaware, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Washington, Wisconsin, and Utah for their awards in this area.
