HCBS Conference

The National Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Conference is hosted annually by NASUAD. This event highlights best practices from across the country in home and community-based services. The conference includes federal, state, and local policymakers as well as those who administer, manage, and deliver waiver and other HCBS programs. The conference features a strong presence from U.S. Health and Human Services, including from the Administration for Community Living, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Health Resources and Services Administration, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and the Office of Developmental Disabilities.

The 2018 Conference was held in Baltimore, MD, from August 27–August 30. You can view materials from this conference, including slideshows from the 2018 presentations and video submissions from the popular "This is Me" contest, here

The 2019 HCBS Conference will take place August 26-29, 2019 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel. The call for sessions is expected to open in late January. Please stay tuned for more details about this year's event!
