The Facts Hurt: A State-by-State Injury Prevention Policy Report

Injuries are the third leading cause of death nationally, and the leading cause of death for Americans between the ages of 1 and 44. This report concludes that millions of injuries could be prevented each year if more states adopted additional research-based injury prevention policies, and if programs were fully implemented and enforced.

All data sets are available for download directly from the SAMHDA website in multiple file formats. Use of Transportation Services among OAA Title III Program Participants

Through the Aging Services Networks, including State Units on Aging, Area Agencies on Aging, local service providers, the Administration on Aging (AoA) works to provide services designed to mitigate the effects of declining physical health and functioning experienced by frail older adults. This brief, the sixth in a series that presents findings from AoA’s National Survey of OAA Program Participants, explores the use of transportation services among OAA Title III program participants.

Virginia State Plan for Aging Services, 2011-2015

Delaware State Plan on Aging FY 2008-2012

This document describes the State of Delaware’s plan on aging in accordance to Older Americans Act requirements. The plan describes the mission, organization, and strategies of Delaware’s Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities and how it plans to coordinate supportive services for its aging adults. The 2011 MetLife Market Survey of Nursing Home, Assisted Living, Adult Day Services, and Home Care Costs

This survey contains daily private-pay rates for private & semi-private rooms in licensed nursing homes, monthly base rates for assisted living communities, hourly rates for home health aides from licensed agencies & agency-provided homemaker companion services, & daily rates for adult day services across the US. Costs for this survey were calculated for each service provider in an area & were aggregated across all providers to compute a statewide average cost.
